Carbon Baffles

These high-gloss carbon fiber cylinder baffles will add great design accents to your Lycoming O-360 or O-320 engine. Tight form fitting design improves cylinder cooling and the ability to manage associated temperatures.

Twill weave carbon fiber and high temperature epoxy help provide long lasting looks. Many epoxies will degrade or discolor when exposed to high temperatures. However, these baffles are post-cured to 350°F which helps prevent them from degrading due to the temperature of the engine. Fiberglass plies are added to prevent dissimilar material corrosion with metal engine and baffling parts.
